James Barton began with Friends For Hope in February 2006 as an office assistant for the organization.  James and his family have lived in Big Lake for most of his life.  James graduated from Reagan County High School and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Angelo State University.  In his spare time James enjoys spending time with his nephew and following him to all of his sporting events.  James also volunteers at the local nursing home decorating the center for the residents to enjoy.  James hopes that his work with Friends For Hope is one way that he can give back to a community that has give so much to him.
